It's time to put some respect on your name. You ever worked so hard? I mean bust your butt to get to where you are? Spend days and nights perfecting your craft? Sacrificed the things you love in life just to level up? All for someone to say, "oh wow, you're lucky"... No, no, no honey, you are far from lucky, but very much so talented and blessed.

I am not lucky. You know what I am? I am smart, I am talented, I take advantage of the opportunities that come my way and I work really, really hard. Don’t call me lucky. Call me badass.

We don't give ourselves enough credit for accomplishing goals and spiritually advancing. We always feel the need to question "why us" or to actually believe someone when they make us feel undeserving of our gift. You made it this far. Celebrate your journey and understand that "luck" didn't do it, you did.

Being called lucky after investing blood, sweat and tears into your platform is a slap in the face. It erases the time that went into the art and just shows the final masterpiece. When you achieve something so grand you want people to know the effort it took to complete. You're not looking for any kind of special recognition, but just the proper respect you deserve.

No one wakes up a star. It takes about 10 years to become an overnight success. Explain that next time someone want's to call you lucky. Let them know it has everything to do with your hustle and nothing to do with luck.
